Abstract

The research investigated the relationship between cyber hoarding, anxiety and Quality of life among university students. It was hypothesized that there would be a significant gender difference on cyber hoarding, anxiety and quality of life among university student and significant negative relationship of cyber hoarding, anxiety and quality of life among university student. It was also assumed that cyber hoarding and anxiety were likely to predict the quality of life among university students. A sample of (N=200) adults was taken from universities through purposive sampling technique. Digital Hoarding Questionnaire by Neave et al., 2019 was used to assess the digital hoarding in students   Beck Anxiety Inventory (Beck, 1988) was used to assess the anxiety level in university students and WHO-Quality of Life Scale was used to assess the mental health and student’s quality of life. For this purpose, the descriptive statistics regression analysis for predictor, independent t-test for gender differences means was used and standard deviations for all study variables and demographic variables were obtained. The Cronbach alpha reliabilities were computed for all study variables was gathered to calculate the internal consistency. Result showed that significant gender difference on cyber hoarding, anxiety and quality of life among university student and significant negative relationship of cyber hoarding, anxiety and quality of life among university student and cyber hoarding and anxiety were likely to predict the quality of life among university students.
