Working as a director in the corporate sector is a crucial position, not only for achieving organizational objectives but also for addressing employee rights, environmental concerns, government legislation, and maintaining the satisfaction of external stakeholders. Managing the responsibilities of both internal and external stakeholders requires high emotional intelligence. Therefore, the present study aimed to investigate the relationship between perceived corporate social responsibility and emotional intelligence among directors in Pakistan. A cross-sectional correlational research design was employed, and directors from corporate organizations were recruited through purposive sampling. Standardized measures were used to assess perceived corporate social responsibility and emotional intelligence. The correlational analysis revealed a significant positive relationship between perceived corporate social responsibility and emotional intelligence, while the regression analysis indicated that perceived corporate social responsibility significantly predicted emotional intelligence. The findings highlight the importance of socially responsible organizational practices and emotionally competent leadership among directors.
